Stop Calling Companion Animals "Pets"

 

Pet is a discretionary word. Stop calling animals "Pets". " Pet " is a discredtionary word espcially in Chinese which has a sense of " being disposable ". Try to call companion animals as " Buddies". or your " 4 - legged children ". Animals are animals and animals are NEVER pets. They can be our children, our friends, our companions, but NEVER in any positions lower than human Beings. Simply - why should they???
