Animal Patronage Program©
-
A proactive CAF approach in bestowing a precious second chance of life
©
All
along, Companion Animal Federation (CAF) has been pro-actively accomplishing
Parenting and Rescuing projects in Hong Kong. However, not all companion
animals can
be the apple of one's eye. Most elderly, handicapped or cross-breed companion
animals
find it difficult to capture the heart of Hong Kong people . Yet, their
life is as precious as
that of the darlings in your house.
As
a member of the Hong Kong No-Kill City Forum Working Group, Companion
Animal Federation (CAF)
is driving our Companion Animal Patronage Program©
in an attempt to provide a
precious second chance for these less privileged animals.
Here
below are the less lucky ones under this program.. We sincerely hope that
all
CAF members and animal lovers can respect and treasure life as we do and
help them by sporting them.
All
possible animal patronage may be for a short period of time and
they need continuous support. So please help to support their lives
to and continue your patronage and support.

Tan is English Springer Spaniel cross with ChowChow .
He was rescued during CAF first Rescue visit in 2002.
He is a good guard dog. He is not chosen because he is
not a pedigree. But it doesn't mean he as to go to die.
CAF saved him and is giving him shelter. But it is always
better to have a home in the long run. Please consider
giving him a lovely home despite the fact that he is not
a pedigree.. |

Story
: |
Bruno was captured
from a vacant flat. His master left him alone
with 2 other Shih Tzu, dirty and hungry in the
house until the landlord called up the police
and found the 3 poor guys there. Bruno was suffering
from serious skin disease and diaherra. He is
allergic to some kind of food and it took CAF
2 months to cure his skin disease.
With a fierce
and guarding look, despite his very loyal and
decent character, Bruno was not chosen despite
CAF repetitious messages. He is a purebreed Sar
Pei with erected ears and is being criticized
for his ears despite his loyal and compassionate
personality. CAF finally rescued him just before
his deadline came. |
